Ashly Fine Rugs was founded in 1896 — when the art of hand-knotting rugs was still the exclusive domain of master weavers in Persia, Turkey, and the Caucasus. More than 130 years later, that same devotion to craftsmanship lives on in everything we do at our Houston showroom on Richmond Avenue.
We are a fourth-generation family business. What began as a deep appreciation for the world’s finest handmade rugs has grown into one of Houston’s most trusted destinations for antique, vintage, and new area rugs. Every generation has brought fresh eyes and new expertise to the collection — and every generation has kept the same commitment: find only rugs worth owning.

Rug Cleaning — Professional hand-washing that preserves natural dyes and wool integrity. We clean every rug the same way it was made: with care and without shortcuts.
Repair & Restoration — From minor fringe work to full structural re-weaving, our craftsmen restore rugs to their original beauty. We have revived pieces that other shops turned away.
