Description
Ashly Fine Rugs presents a hand-woven recreation of an Antique Irish Donegal carpet. Created by our in-house designers and woven by the master weavers of Turkey, these rugs are made with the exact methods from which they were originally made in 1800s Ireland. These also have a 1/4in. thick wool pile on a hemp foundation and have been sun-washed to give it a subtle antique feel and look. This beautiful piece has a light blue background with variations throughout the field, also known as an Abrash, along with the design consisting of black/charcoal, beige, ivory, and light clay. This antique recreation would go great in an entryway, bedroom, bathroom, or wherever its beauty is desired.
