Ashly Fine Rugs presents an Antique Persian Mahal 7×10 Ivory, Tan, & Blue Handmade Area Rug. Originating from the Mahallat region of Persia (Central Iran), Mahal rugs are widely sought after by interior designers and connoisseurs alike thanks to their free yet playful designs, which are complementary with the majority of home interiors. Some might mistake a Mahal rug for a Sultanabad Rug because of the very similar design and look, and that is because Mahals were actually Sultanabad-inspired creations made many years later after the originals. Made with all vegetable-dyed, handspun wool and entirely handwoven. The pile of the rug is 1/4in. This elegant piece has an ivory color background, with the design, border, and details consisting of Tan, Blue, Ivory, Navy, & Rust. Nonetheless, an excellent piece for a living room, bedroom, office, or wherever its beauty is desired.
