Ashly Fine Rugs presents an Afghan Tabriz Overdye 8×9 Blue and Ivory Handmade Area Rug. An overdyed rug is when we take the original rug and submerge it into a tank of water and color of choice for a few hours or even a few days depending on the desired look. The rug is then taken from the tank and washed of any excess dye and dried to give you a brand new, more contemporary look. This was an ivory Afgan Tabriz overdyed with blue to make it a mostly blue rug, but still having some ivory left over. These pieces are entirely handwoven and are done so with 100% handspun wool. Nonetheless, an excellent piece for a bedroom, sitting room, or wherever its desired.
