Ashly Fine Rugs presents a 21st Century Pakistan Tabriz Mahi Wool & Silk 11×16 Ivory, Gold & Blue Handmade Area Rug. Tabriz Mahis are known for their design, also known as the fish design, and the use of mostly earth tones that downplay the intricacy of the field. Made with all vegetable-dyed, handspun wool & silk and entirely handwoven with a nice plush 3/8″ pile. This elegant and unique piece has an all silk ivory background, while the design, details, and border are done in wool and consist of tan, gold, blue, and pink. SIlk is sometimes hard to picture with all the correct colors because of the way it reflects light, so in this case, some of the pictures may appear more yellow than they actually are. Nonetheless, this is an excellent rug and is most certainly a statement piece for a living room, dining room, or wherever its beauty is desired.
