Persian Tabriz circa 1940-50, handwoven in Iran with handspun wools and vegetable dyes. These rugs are better known as the Pahlavi Dynasty rugs, they were woven during Reza Shah Of Iran Regin. This rug is a Sheik Safi design with a brown background and a dark green border with red accent color, it is in excellent condition with a 1/4 inch thick pile. The knot count is 50-Raj or 225 knots per square inch.
