Description

Persian Tabriz circa 1940-50, handwoven in Iran with handspun wools and vegetable dyes. These rugs are better known as the Pahlavi Dynasty rugs, they were woven during Reza Shah Of Iran Regime. This Tabriz has a saffron yellow background and a Persian red border with light-blue and green accent color, it is in excellent condition with a 1/4 inch thick pile. The knot count is 50-Raj or 225 knots per square inch.
